The results of the 2022 Primary School Leaving Examination or PSLE were released on the 23rd of November, 2022. Once the S1 Option form is filled, the Secondary 1 Results will be released by the 23rd of December. The results will be uploaded through an SMS, the primary school of candidates, and a web portal. The web portal can be accessed through the PIN generated earlier.
Once students receive posting details, they should check the school’s website to study the relevant admission dates and schedule. Most schools start the academic year in the first week of January.
How the Choice Order System Works

As part of the new change, students are asked to fill up to 6 school choices within their Option Form. Once the choices are filled, students are analyzed based on the ethos, values, learning methodologies, and pros of the school they want to go to.
For instance, if Kevin had listed XXX Secondary School on the top of his preferences list, and Amy had listed it as fourth, then Kevin would be chosen over Amy for admission into the said school. However, the balloting system will still be used if both candidates have chosen the same school as their top priority.
A dream school for one candidate may or may not be the same for another candidate. The choices-based model makes tiebreakers more interesting and allows evaluators to send students to a school of their choice.
