Mr Benedict Chua is a responsible, steadfast, and dedicated teacher who is rightly deployed to lead a P6 Write class. From our interactions with Teacher Ben during the first few lessons, my daughter, Sarah, has benefitted from his interesting and engaging lessons which allow her to brainstorm ideas to write her compositions.
Teacher Ben’s timely feedback on Sarah’s compositions has also spurred her on to put in her best effort for every piece of work. His comments and elaborations for each week’s work has also given Sarah more ideas on how to enrich her content and vocabulary. Many thanks to Teacher Ben who has shown his passion for teaching through his guidance and unwavering support!

I am writing to express my appreciation to you for having assigned Tuan Tuan to Teacher May (Siek May Choh)’s class.
After trying out a couple of teachers for the P4 tutorials, we found that Teacher May is the one whom we trust, and Tuan Tuan is very willing to learn from. Teacher May is responsible and passionate in teaching. She is also very friendly and helpful. The sincere feedback provided by Teacher May on Tuan Tuan’s progress and performance has always been effective for both us as parents and Tuan Tuan to identify the areas for improvement.
Well done to you to have sourced such a high quality teacher and this is one of the reasons why we have chosen W@W.

I am very glad to be part of Teacher Jemmies’ class as she is aware of the academic requirements, for both IP and ‘O’ level curricula. Teacher Jemmies is also prepared to deepen learning and love for English in each of her students. I have learnt to broaden my perspectives through lively and engaging discussions on critical issues with W@W’s thematic approach, and the in-depth analysis of passages. Kudos to Teacher Jemmies, I scored a 90% in my recent Y1 English assessment!

I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Teacher John for his relentless effort to help my son Torres from Sec 1.
As soon as I highlighted the school’s test which Torres could have fared better, Teacher John offered to help Torres to improve his grades. It was a special assignment that was not covered in the W@W curriculum.
As such, I really wish to voice this out in order to show my utmost sincere appreciation for his passion to help his students to this extent! Much earlier I even thought of sending Torres to somewhere reputable which is also within a stone’s throw away from our house as compared to WOW, but with this impeccable service, we decided to continue.

I’m impressed with WOW writing class as it is structured, and the weekly themes help the students expand their thinking processes on how to construct the flow by writing the composition according to these themes.
Clarisse has improved significantly after attending WRITERS@WORK writing programme. She is now independent and has good ideas and a wide array of vocabulary to write a piece of composition. Her spelling and grammar has also improved.
Ms Mitsuko has been patient and dedicated in coaching Clarisse and follows up with me on Clarisse’s work. She also had taken time out to go through Clarisse’s compo paper one to one, giving her tips on how to improve her school writing composition. I am very happy that under Ms Mitsuko’s guidance, Clarisse has flourished into a confident and fine writer.

With W@W guidance since K2, studying English has been a breeze for me because I know exactly what I have to do to ace English exams. W@W helped to smoothen my transition from SLE to Secondary. I took to Secondary English like a duck to water and scored A1 all the way from Secondary 1 to 2. W@W lessons taught me essay writing skill and comprehension techniques that are easily applicable in my WAs and exams. The best part is my W@W Teacher is awesome and she makes studying English fun!

I am writing to commend the good work of both Teacher James & Teacher Zam. I will not go into the specifics, but I will share with you my observations and the feedback from my child Megan.
Megan has gone under many different teachers during her time at W@W but these 2 teachers really stand out for their ability to make English & writing lessons INTERESTING! Just imagine, my girl looks forward to attending their lessons every single week! Seldom do I see her so enthusiastic about her enrichments lol.
I can still vividly remember the SPARKLE in Megan’s eyes when I told her that T Zam & T James would be her teachers for English & writing. Learning English doesn’t have to be a chore for the kids!!!
Lastly, these 2 teachers have trained Megan tirelessly and helped her achieve AL2 for her prelims in English. Really GREAT work by these 2 gentlemen!!
I would like to thank EVERYONE at W@W for making this possible!!! You really have a SUPER TEAM from the teachers to the ever friendly and helpful support staffsssss!!! I really owe it to all of them!!!
I forgot to mention that achieving AL2 for English in prelims for Megan was quite a feat considering that she was scoring in the high 60s and low 70s when she first joined W@W. Special mention to Teacher Tessa. She was Megan’s first teacher at W@W and she played a pivotal role in igniting Megan’s interest in writing and laid a good foundation for Megan. It has been an incredible journey. Really grateful for all the good work by Team W@W XD
