Greediness

        The sun shone brilliantly in the azure blue sky. It was a breezy morning. John was walking through the mall when his eyes spied something interesting. His face lit up and eyes bulged wide when he saw the poster for a durian eating contest. Upon seeing that the winning prize was a thousand dollars cash, a ripple of excitement coursed through his body. He rubbed his hands gleefully and licked his lips in eager anticipation. His saliva pooled in his mouth and he drooled uncontrollably at the thought of tucking into his favourite fruit.
