Past Years PSLE Oral Questions

Primary 4 English Tuition

PAST YEARS PSLE ORAL QUESTIONS

Starting from 2025, the PSLE English Oral Examination will play a bigger role, with the weightage rising from 15% to 20% of the total English grade and the marks increasing from 30 to 40.
Along with this, important changes have been introduced to the format:

  • Reading Aloud now includes a preamble that states the purpose, audience, and context of the passage, encouraging students to read with greater awareness.
  • Stimulus-Based Conversation (SBC) will feature real-life photographs instead of hand-drawn posters as stimulus, and the theme will no longer be linked to the reading aloud theme, requiring students to think and respond more flexibly.
